Responsibilities:
· Understand and implement appropriate accounting policies and processes to support growing business. Establish and ensure compliance to internal controls and governance.
· Oversee full spectrum of accounting/finance operations functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax & treasury, credit & collections, GL & statutory reporting etc.
· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P/L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc) for management reviews and submission to UK/Asia HQ.
· Liaison with auditors/tax agents/corporate secretaries/government authorities/banks for timely completion of statutory audits, tax filing and compliance to local regulatory requirements.
· Monitor cash flow to ensure appropriate and optimum utilization of funds.
· Ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
· Accounting Degree, certified accountant or similar qualifications
· Minimum 8-10 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 4-5 years in a financial controller capacity. Familiarity with accounting standards and local reporting statutory regulations. Ability to independently manage all statutory compliance requirements (eg audit, tax filing etc).
· Experience in leading a team and a highly effective people manager.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong financial, analytical, data-management and presentation skills.
· Organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight time lines.
