(Temp/Contract) Accounts Executive

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

At least 2 years of working experience inday-to-day AR & AP, GL or Fullset account in trading/selling finished goods companies.

Knowledge in IFRS and GAAP.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English

Able to start work immediately

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Contract and Temporary position(s) available.

Responsibilities: Accounting - Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

Monitor and proactive follow up on overdue and delinquent customer accounts to meet cashflow KPI.

Perform cash flow projection.

Investigate and follow up on unidentified or unmatched collections in a timely manner.

Ensure team members timely offset upon receipt of payment from customers.

Perform credit block release.

Calculate bad debt reserves in accordance with Ecolab Accounting and Control policy.

Handle monthly accrual accounting.

Monitor vendor listing, prepayments , deposits and accruals.

Perform vendor Statement of Account reconciliation and resolve reconciling differences.

Perform month end AR and AP closing and balance sheet account reconciliations.

Reporting

Prepare month end reports such as AR & AP Aging, DSO, DPO, Gross Sales & Past due on a timely basis.

Ensure queries and issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding collections, ad hoc requests promptly.

Manage stakeholders' expectation ensuring timely and accurate service delivery and issue resolution.

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close process that is in compliance with Policy.

Assist and support internal and statutory audits.
