An opportunity for a experienced Accounts Assistant - AR to join a team assisting with multiple duties focused on Sales ledger and reconciliations. This role would suit someone with a prior sales ledger, accounts receivable or accounts assistant focused role and looking for stability

Client Details

The client is a stable and growing Manufacturing and Production company based out of Stevenage. They work closely with some of Europe's most recognisable brands in delivering excellent environmentally friendly products. As a result they are looking for an experienced professional to assist with their Accounts receivable and reconciliations.

Description

Accounts Assistant - AR Duties:

  • Full management of the sales ledger/account receivable tasks
  • Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions
  • Balance sheet/ bank/ supplier statement reconciliations
  • Cash allocation
  • Initiate collections on overdue accounts (mainly via email)
  • Running reports
  • Tracking invoices and resolving accounts for our customers

Profile

The successful Accounts Assistant - AR will have the following experience and characteristics:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role with a stable career history
  • Strong sales ledger/accounts receivable focused experience
  • Strong reconciliations exposure
  • Experience working on Sage as well as EXCEL
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Friendly and outgoing. willing to be part of the team
  • Great communication skills to speak with customers and internal staff
