    ABOUT THE ROLE
    The Payroll Operations Manager is responsible for the delivery of the fortnightly SOH payroll, high quality payroll services to managers and employees as well as ensuring compliance with relevant legislation pertaining to taxation, superannuation and worker's compensation. This role is also responsible for managing the team to ensure efficient, accurate and reliable delivery of payroll services.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Have extensive operational experience with payroll systems and ability to lead a payroll team
  • Have sound knowledge of IR and experience interpreting policies, awards and legislation and their conversion into payroll system rules
  • Qualification in payroll, finance or business management desirable
  • Demonstrated capability to balance competing priorities and manage high pressure time constraints and simultaneous deadlines.
  • Deliver clear verbal or written advice in relation to complex payroll matters
  • A sound level of technological literacy in a business environment, including large HRIS systems and record keeping and office software
  • Customer service focus with proven capability in liaising effectively with all levels of staff, working within diverse functions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarise complex data into meaningful, user friendly formats.
