The Position:

We are currently looking for a Senior Payroll Services Officerto join our Payroll team. This is the perfect role for an experienced payroll professional comfortable working in a fast paced and high volume environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Payroll, this position will require a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with the ideal candidate technically sound and already experienced in interpreting awards and EBA's,well versed and up to date with current payroll legislation and employment law.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • End to end payroll functions
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team, both onshore and offshore staff
  • Calculating terminations, redundancies and leave
  • Award and EBA interpretation
  • Ensuring monthly payment of superannuation and other payroll liabilities
  • Keeping up to date with Award and IR changes that may impact the company
  • Work closely and collaboratively with HR to ensure that all contractual responsibilities are maintained.
  • Respond to payroll queries in a professional and timely manner

  • What you will need:
  • Provide solutions in a timely, accurate and professional manner in a sometimes challenging environment
  • Knowledgeable in Human Resources, Employment Law and Industrial Relations
  • Have acted in a similar role previously
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy
  • Experience with Pay Global highly regarded although not essential
