What You Will Be Doing
Working closely with the Financial Controller to manage the financial accounting at Peninsula Health and be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the accounting information provided to internal and external stakeholders. The role will perform professional level accounting work involving the analysis and reporting of health service finances, and other tasks related to the practice of recording, classifying, researching and reconciling financial transactions.
The role includes the functional and technical supervision over more junior team members in the Financial Accounting Team.
The Financial Reporting Manager will also support the Financial Controller in the delivery of outputs for the relevant sub committees of the Board.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
•Strong technical understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.
•Completion of a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Business.
•CPA or CA qualified.
•Adept at working in busy multi-tasking environments.
•High attention to detail and accuracy driven.
•Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
