The position is responsible for supporting the business through the preparation of monthly financial accounting data with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information, enabling manager to make sound business decisions.
Complete monthly accounting functions including.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register including additions and disposals.
Prepare reports as required. Reporting Pack to the US - monthly and quarterly
Oversee the inventory process and assist in the development of a new inventory function within Nav.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
Assist in the preparation of the annual tax return
Contribute to continuing process improvements across all entities
Preparation of financial information required for the completion of the year end statutory accounts.
Assisting in the coordination of the year-end financial audit.
Bachelor Degree in Commerce or equivalent
4-5 years' experience within a Chartered Accounting firm or within a medium to large business
Intermediate excel skills
Experience with Microsoft Navision and Jet reports desirable but not essential
