A new opportunity exists within our Ray White Accounting Solutions team for an Assistant Accountant. Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Senior Manager, this entry-level role will provide support to the Management Accountant team who provide specialist accounting services to Ray White franchisees operating real estate agencies. The Assistant Accountant role is considered the stepping stone to the Management Accountant role which works closely with franchisees with regards to their day to day accounting and financial performance.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Core accounting skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience in Xero accounting software
  • Relationship building skills with the ability to liaise with internal team members
  • An ability to adapt to an evolving role with enthusiasm

  • The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Supporting the Senior Manager with converting offices to Xero Accounting Software from their current software (typically MYOB).
  • Working closely with the Management Accountant team to support day to day processes, in particular during times where team members are on leave.
  • Completion of monthly accounting processes including bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors.

  • This role would suit an undergraduate or graduate accountant with some experience in the accounting industry. The role presents lots of opportunities for growth and development in an industry that is challenging and dynamic.
