  • The Grants Manager will be working under the overall supervision of the CFO, The Grants Manager will provide technical and administrative support in the planning, design, oversight and implementation of resilience focused grant programming to support innovative approaches that will enhance the role of civil society, increase social cohesion, while reducing marginalization amongst communities within the newly merged districts.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordinating, collating and integrating information for the development and design of grant funded resilience focused programming within the assigned districts; while ensuring the timely compilation of program and project data.
  • Engage in the development and drafting of Grant Award Agreements, inclusive of background information, objectives, theory of change, implementation plans, and modifications/amendments.
  • Responsible for maintaining grants filing systems, ensuring that proper recordkeeping practices are maintained for all department documentation, inclusive of agreements, proposals, revisions, amendments, reports, internal grant trackers and donor databases etc.
  • Design and facilitate training workshops on programming requirements for staff and key program stakeholders; while also liaising with programming team members to respond to grant programming queries and advise on processes and guidelines.
  • Support departmental efforts in grant performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with the donor approved Activity Cycle Handbook and regular review of progress against established performance indicators; ensuring that tools are processes are in place to collect relevant qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Responsible for ensuring data quality, integrity, precision, validity, reliability and timeliness as required by the Grants Department; while also recording all internal lessons learned and programmatic recommendations.
  • Organize and maintain Grants Department programmatic records and documentation, maintain departmental databases, track grant activity progress, while also support the production of programmatic deliverables and reports.
  • Any other task assigned by the CFO/or Management.

Required Education:
  • ACCA or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Management, Development studies, Statistics or related discipline with 3 years of relevant professional experience and advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel and Access), database management and/or statistical software, preferably knowledge of Teams etc…

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of working with community development project implementation, preferably have experience in the field of grants programming.
  • Proven experience in writing, editing, and critical thinking.
  • Capacity to understand and analyze the local, regional and national political environment; with the creative and analytical capacity to design and implement resilience-focused grant programming suitable to the political context.
  • Experience in research, including management and coordination of information, flows and data management including collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing data to generate information products is desirable.

  • Qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis skills
  • Report writing
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft office suite software, specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams

  • 3 Years

  • Monday to Friday (11:00 AM to 08:00 PM)
