Management Accountant - Public Sector - Liverpool/Work From Home - £28-31k


Your new company
You will be working for a UK wide public sector organisation that are looking to grow their team in the North West, by bringing in a Management Accountant. The company is currently operating a hybrid working model, which allows for employees to work ether remotely, in the office, or a mixture of the two.

Your new role
As the Management Accountant you will produce management accounts for the organisation and will support the wider team to provide specific financial information. This may include reports on transactions, ledger reports and information on individual accounting entries such as accruals and prepayments. You will also maintain the accuracy of the ledger by clearing any queries or mis-coded entries. You will be using Excel on a daily basis and will perform v-lookups and pivot tables.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a drive to progress and will be a committed individual. Ideally you will be studying towards a professional finance qualification. It is important you are strong on management accounts, accruals, prepayments and journal entries. You should also be able to look at different budgets and forecasts, loading them onto the finance system. You will be excellent on Excel and will have a keen eye for detail.
