Finance Director

Large global manufacturer seek to appoint a commercially-driven Finance Director to lead their UK operations.

Hays Senior Finance have been exclusively retained by a subsidiary of a large global manufacturing group to appoint a Finance Director to provide commercial and financial management to their UK multi-site business.

Your new company
This leading manufacturer supply products to countries across the globe and with a wide portfolio of products they are at the forefront of their market. With a turnover in excess of £100m they have enjoyed sustained growth and have further plans for development, entering new markets.
To support this continued growth and development, they are seeking to appoint a commercially-focused Finance Director to oversee the financial and commercial management of the multi-site UK subsidiary.

Your new role
As part of the UK's executive team, you will play a key role in defining and driving organisational strategy whilst overseeing tight financial controls and management.
Leading a multi-site team, your key responsibilities will include the preparation of financial and statutory accounts packs, preparing the monthly management accounts, leading the annual budgeting and financial planning process; leading and managing the CAPEX function for the UK business, company secretarial duties, tax and treasury and ad-hoc project work.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified finance leader with a demonstrable track record of leading the financials for a multi-site business, ideally within the manufacturing sector although other industry-backgrounds will be considered. You will be a natural leader, able to partner with operations to drive performance and create a best-in-class ethos across the organisation. You will ideally have worked for a large US-owned business and have detailed experience and knowledge of group reporting.
