Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting in to a qualified management accountant responsible for assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts pack.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, balance sheet reconciliations, posting accruals and prepayments, assisting with the submission of VAR returns, management of the fixed asset register and calculating depreciation, bank reconciliations, sales invoicing and posting inter-company purchase invoices.
This is a unrivalled opportunity for a bright accounts assistant or assistant accountant looking for a month end role relevant to studies in a stable, growing organisation.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in a relevant accounts role previously
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong Excel skills
- Be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA - desirable
Job Offer
£22,000 - £25,000 + full AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + free on site parking + pension scheme + cycle to work scheme
