Description

The Cost Analyst will be responsible for:

• Support stakeholders across the business, providing detailed reports to support their strategies
• Work with business heads to ensure the cost control and management aspects of projects are delivered
• Prepare monthly reports that can be utilised to locate inefficiencies and key ares for improvement and growth
• Produce detailed variances analysis, across multiple business areas and gather information to support quality decision making.
• Work closely with the Finance team in particular, developing a basic understanding of the project accounting processes
• Consistently look to develop and improve the processes and procedures of the business to help drive efficiency

Profile

The successful candidate for the Cost Analyst will be:

• Confident in working with multiple stakeholders and explaining key reports and analysis
• Inquisitive in their mindset and with a strong numerical knowledge
• Strong ability of Excel, capable of handling a large amount of data
• Finance knowledge and cost accounting experience would be advantageous
