The Senior Audit and Risk Coordinator is responsible for makinga significant contribution to DEW's governance by leading,developing, and managing DEW's strategy for risk, audit andbusiness continuity management. The Senior Audit and RiskCoordinator will develop and implement effective risk and auditframeworks, policies, procedures and systems in order tosuccessfully identify and treat risks across the Department. TheSenior Audit and Risk Coordinator will influence the Agency'srisk management culture to support proactive and informed decisionmaking. They will be responsible for providing a strategic adviceand support service to DEW Executive, Business Units and Regions,for the achievement of agreed objectives on risk and auditmatters.

Contractterm up to 25 February 2022.

  • Experience with enterprise risk management framework and model (ERM)is highly desirable.
  • May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
  • A current class "C" driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
  • Inter and intrastate and remote area travel is required, including travel in light aircraft.
  • A current First Aid Certificate is essential.
  • May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.

  • Salary:
    ASO7$101,859 minimum - $110,107 maximum p.a.
