Ongoing, Part Time (0.6 full time equivalence, 22.8 hours per week)

PTA 5, $99,164 p.a. pro rata (plus 9.50% super)

About the Role:

A unique and challenging opportunity supporting the Senior Management Group exists within the Finance Directorate at CFA. The primary purpose of the role is to support the Senior Management Group with the delivery of corporate level activities and tasks, and with the coordination of the overall Finance Directorate. You will develop and maintain a systemised approach, prioritise activities and facilitate improvements to the overall operation of the Finance Directorate, including coordinating the development and monitoring of the business plan and budget.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support the Senior Management Group in the delivery of the business plan and budget
  • Provide support and advice across the Finance Directorate on matters related to processes, policies and programs
  • Establish rigorous processes in respect to corporate activities
  • Champion collaboration, continual improvement and quality management across the team
  • Develop and build partnerships with key internal and external key stakeholders
  • Conduct research, prepare reports and provide expert recommendations

  • About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience in a relevant discipline
  • Relevant experience managing/coordinating a business function within a complex organisation
  • A demonstrated focus on improvements, outputs and outcomes and meeting deadlines
  • Sound business acumen and credibility, particularly with senior stakeholders
  • High level written and verbal communication with skills in translating complex material into meaningful and succinct information
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills with a high level of initiative and ability to identify solutions to complex problems and deliver outcomes
