The role:

As the Financial Analyst you will report to the Legal Entity Controller and your key objective will be to support the periodic and ad hoc reporting and external compliance needs across the finance team, including close business partnering with the FP&A team. This is a rare entry-level Finance opportunity with exposure to both Financial and Management accounting at a growing global Beauty business

Reporting to the Legal Entity Controller, you will:
  • Provide ongoing support with quality data & analysis to assist in making better-informed, accurate and data-driven strategic business decisions.
  • Assist with coordinating and preparing monthly MBU and Planning decks involving working closely with various stakeholders across the company.
  • Assist Legal Entity Controller and FP&A Manager with budgeting and forecasting, including uploads to Hyperion.
  • Assist with preparation of analysis and commentary for the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet as required.
  • Assist with preparation of internal reports (financial reporting pack) for submission to Corporate.
  • Assist with coordinating the month end activities of the offshore finance team and provide hands-on support as required to ensure all key deliverables are met.
  • Oversee the insurance renewal processes, including preparation of insurance renewal forms.
  • Respond to finance related queries from internal departments and ensure follow-up in a timely manner.

  • You will have:
  • Degree qualified and currently undertaking CA/CPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong system skills (SAP and Hyperion experience are highly regarded)
  • High level interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • High level ability to set priorities and manage competing demands
  • Adaptability in a changing environment
