Page Personnel is working with a well known retail brand to recruit a Finance Manager to join their accountancy team.

Client Details

This is a reputable local business that is now part of a well known PLC organisation. They have a very ambitious growth plan and this role will require the Finance Manager to oversee the day to day accounts as well as being tasked with growing the team in the future. They have excellent ratings and have won numerous awards.

Description

The Finance Manager role will be required to:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations with full variance analysis with commentaries
• Preparing budgeting and reforecasts
• Managing long term cash flow forecasts
• Preparing group reports and weekly trading packs
• Providing analysis on sales, margin, brand and products
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Managing and reviewing payroll
• Challenging and developing processes to identify cost saving opportunities
• Managing all stock control and reporting
• Building KPI reports and improving MI to be distributed across senior management team as well as group
• National statistics
• Managing an accounts assistant and oversee their day to day activity as well as coaching, mentoring and developing them

Profile

The successful applicant to the Finance Manager role must have the following:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience candidates will be considered
• Experience working in a fast paced business - retail background would be advantageous
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Strong analytical skills - experience and developing KPIs, margin analysis
• Excellent communication skills and able to liaise effectively with people across the wider business
• Experience of working in a group reporting role is desirable
