Our client is seeking candidates with previous experience in compiling mortgage applications.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of loans/customers, ensuring compliance throughout the home loan approval and settlement process.

Description

As a Credit Officer::
  • Assess mortgage applications for new and existing customers
  • Top ups
  • Analyse financial and supporting documents to determine viability of the loan
  • Review and acceptance of property valuations
  • Assess mortgage insurance
  • Outbound calls to various stakeholders, mortgage insurers, customers and brokers
  • Ensure KPI's and Credit QA targets and audits are met
  • Ability to prioritise work and perform under pressure.
  • Handle enquiries and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve and streamline processes and procedures
  • Complete verification and credit assessment components
  • Ad-Hoc duties

  • Profile

    To be successful in this position you will need:
  • 12 + months of experience working in a banking environment
  • Previous experience compiling mortgage applications
  • A previous credit authority is advantageous (e.g. DCA)
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Flexibility and adaptability
