Job Description Summary

A new opportunity has arisen for a Junior Finance Analyst on a max term contract until the end of December 2021 to join Comdain's Clayton office, Victoria.

The Junior Finance Analyst is responsible to manage the financial reporting of a work order closure project, dealing with aged open orders (WIP) relating to the OMSA contract with Multinet Gas Network. You will be working in a small project team reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with key internal stakeholders in managing the successful close out of a significant volume of open orders

The Junior Finance Analyst is responsible to manage the financial reporting of a work order closure project, dealing with aged open orders (WIP) relating to the OMSA contract with Multinet Gas Network. You will be working in a small project team reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with key internal stakeholders in managing the successful close out of a significant volume of open orders

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following;
  • Manage the successful financial outcomes of the WIP closure requirement and report key progress; within the fixed term timeframes;
  • Report outcomes of closures and provide regular updates to Business Performance Manager and Finance Manager
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders in ensuring a logical and targeted progression of the project and if required escalate any key issues that arise;
  • Compile excel reports, using pivot tables v-lookups and any other suitable excel tools in managing the data for quality reporting purposes;
  • Respond and attend to various other administrative tasks relating to OMSA contract

    This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced/graduate Finance Analyst
    In addition to the above, we require an individual with;
  • The proven ability to plan, organise and schedule resources to achieve efficient operations of maintenance and construction activities;
  • Advanced level in MS Office suite (Excel, SAP, Power BI)
  • Exceptional communications skills and ability to multitask
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Finance,
  • We are open to recent graduates with 1-3 years' experience
  • Proven Financial Analysis background
  • Experience in dealing with large volumes of data
  • Previous experience in manipulating large volumes of data in excel
