About the role

Your primary responsibilities include ensuring regular risk assessments are carried out, customers are invoiced promptly and overdue payments are proactively followed up in line with Cement Australia's current credit policy. In addition, as aCredit Officer you will effectively liaise with other key areas of Cement Australia to:
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) processing in line within the set guidelines (Banking, Allocation, Sundry Invoicing & Journals);
  • Be responsible for the day to day management and control of the Regional, Government, Associate and Cash Sales;
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all customers and stakeholders;
  • Closely monitor customer approved credit limits to ensure they are in compliance with Cement Australia Credit Policy;
  • Provide support for other team members as requested by the National Credit Manager.

  • About you:
  • 2-4 years credit collection experience working for a construction industry supplier (preferred)
  • Certificate IV in Credit Management Financial Services (desirable)
  • Highly motivated, reliable and a team player
  • SAP experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willing and fast learner
  • Proven problem solving skills
