The role:

As a SAP Payroll Systems Analyst, your main responsibilities will be working on a large transformation project, implementing SuccessFactors/SAP payroll solution, testing configuration of newly created pay elements and providing guidance and assistance to the payroll team through parallel runs testing.

Key responsibilities in the role are but not limited to:
  • Work closely with the project team on creating testing scenarios to ensure a successful payroll system implementation and all aspects of payroll processes are covered (leave absences/accrual impact, superannuation calculation, etc.)
  • Analyse business requirements and thoroughly test newly configured pay elements in UAT environment prior signing them off for deployment in production
  • Guide and assist the payroll team through parallel runs testing when comparing payroll results between Oracle and SAP/SuccessFactors
  • Gather business requirements by engaging with different stakeholders for a new pay element creation when required
  • Coordinate activities with IT, Payroll, Finance and People & Performance to ensure timely and accurate flow of information
  • Proactively assess the system needs of the Payroll department and identify, analyse, and recommend business process improvements

  • To be successful in this role you will have:
  • SuccessFactors/ SAP implementation experience (Must)
  • 5+ years previous Payroll experience in a Senior Payroll Officer position
  • Previous experience with Oracle (desirable)
  • Experience working in a high-volume Payroll environment (1,000+)
  • Strong computer skills especially in Excel (Advanced Excel)
  • High attention to details
  • Understanding of relevant laws and payroll legislation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with both an autonomous and a team player attitude
