Job Description

RPS is looking to appoint a Tax Specialist to join our high performing Finance Division. Reporting to the Tax Manager you will assist with tax compliance for the Australia-Asia Pacific region covering Income tax, FBT and GST.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare and Review ongoing tax compliance matters for the Australia- Asia Pacific region, including FBT, GST, PAYG-I, Royalty, and Interest returns.
  • Support the identification and governance of tax risk within the risk framework.
  • Assist with Income tax return preparation.
  • Prepare and Review Tax balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and Review Tax effect accounting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, creating local process documentation and ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement improvements as directed.


  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 year's commercial tax experience preferred or professional firm (Big 4 or second tier);
  • CA or CPA qualified or close to completion;
  • Solid technical tax knowledge in Income Tax, GST, FBT and other indirect taxes;
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel and tax software such as OneSource;
  • Regular participation in educational opportunities and reading of professional publications
