This role is a key role within Trócaire Northern Ireland to deliver on key administration tasks to support effective governance and ensure transparency and accountability in Trócaire (Northern Ireland), working to support the HQ Finance Division. A meticulous, methodical approach to the responsibilities and duties outlined below is crucial.
Reporting to the Head of Region, this is a part time (22 hours per week) contract of indefinite duration and is based in the Belfast Office .

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Financial support responsibilities
- Preparation of daily and monthly fund and income reconciliation's and monthly bank reconciliations
- Process supplier invoices and payments through the finance systems, includes use of online banking
- Process employee expense claims and travel floats
- Maintenance of petty cash for the Belfast office and monthly reconciliation's of petty cash
- Support on annual Audit Preparation across the team and support on any recommendations for implementation across the office
- Support the management of Trócaire NI bank accounts and relationships with each bank
- Support with filings of audited accounts with Companies House and annual returns with Charity Commission Northern Ireland
- Support the processing of standing orders, direct debits, bank transfers and coin collection reconciliations as required
- Support the processing of Gift Aid claims quarterly where required
- Support the separation of duties when required within the Donor Services function, supporting the processing of donations
- Attend and complete training as required
- Other duties as directed by the Head of Region
