A Finance and HR Manager job is now available in a US manufacturing company in Johor.

About the Finance and HR Manager Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be leading the finance, human resource and administration functions for this office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for the company and ensuring accuracy of cash flow, corporate taxation and statutory filling are in accordance to corporate guidelines
  • Developing and rolling-out budget whilst keeping track of actual against budget
  • Assuming a business partner role to other departments in regard to efficiency, costing issues and inventory
  • Providing guidance and upscaling the competency of the team
  • Developing, updating, and implementing human resource policies and ensuring compliance with employee and labour law, and corporate guidelines
  • Maintaining procedures, accuracy and integrity of payroll data and expenditures
  • Participating in Safety Committee meetings and monitoring follow-up action items on compliance
  • Maintaining contractual and statutory records which includes licenses, permits, agreements and insurance policies

  • To succeed in the Finance and HR Manager role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior members of the organisation.

    Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or relevant field
  • At least 10 years' working experience in a similar capacity within a multinational company
  • Experience working in a manufacturing industry is mandatory
  • Results-oriented and a growth-mindset
  • Ability to work in a lean environment
