-Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information
-Predicting future financial trends
-Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
-Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
-Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
-Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets
-Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
-Analysing market trends and competitors Requirements : • Possess a Degree in Finance/ Accounting or professional accountancy qualification ACCA/MICPA/CIMA or equivalent. Preferably a member of MIA.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience with 3 years in airline environment preferred but not mandatory.
• Have good understanding of internal controls required of a business.
• Knowledgeable in MFRS, Income Tax Act, SST Act and/or related statutory regulations and requirements.
• An avid believer of continuous improvement and learning.
• Good computer literacy with speedy ability to appreciate existing systems and business processes.
• Aptitude for details and meticulous towards all work assignments.
• Analytical and good communicator.
• Hands-on experience in management accounting is an advantage.
