Your new company
Our client are an expanding SME business that has recently secured funding for significant expansion. Operating in both the domestic and international space, this company has recently expanded the factory and invested in new plant and machinery. An ambitious SME business with a unique product proposition and expanding customer base. The business has recently implemented a new ERP system which will drive improved data and decision making.

Your new role
In this new role, as Finance Manager you will be responsible for leading a small finance team and reporting into a Finance Director.

You will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts and KPI production, overseeing a small accounts team.

A key aspect of your role will be to business partner the operations, commercial and factory teams. In particular using the additional data from the ERP system to feed departments with new data and to challenge performance in all areas.

You will look at factory efficiency, supply chain and procurement, commercial and margins, and also oversee tight control of working capital especially cashflow.

Supporting the board with the production of reports on Forecasts and business cases for any investment decisions.

The business is looking to grow substantially and you will be involved with integration of any new acquisitions.


What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified accountant with substantial experience of a manufacturing business. Experience in SME (20-100m) would be attractive but is not essential.
You should have experience of working with, challenging and influencing operational managers.
