We are looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join our busy pro-active accountancy firm in Chesterfield. We provide a full spectrum of services to a wide range of clients.

This role would be mainly accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and landlords. There would also be some scope to assist our tax and payroll teams.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience, with good organisation and IT skills and be able to prepare financial statements from incomplete records, basic spreadsheets and software including Xero and Sage.

If you have previously dealt with processing self-assessment tax returns or payroll this would be a bonus but is not essential.
