A secure and growing business based in Derby currently require an Assistant Financial Accountant to cover maternity leave for the next 12 months. Initially this position will be working from home.

Reporting into the Finance Manager you will get involved in a variety of tasks. The main duties of this role will include:

• AR & AP Journals

• Bank Reconciliations

• Cash flow forecasts and analysis

• VAT preparation and returns

• Intercompany Journals

• Corporation Tax returns

• Monthly reporting

• P & L

• Balance Sheet

There will be other additional duties supporting the Finance Manager with various projects.

The client is looking for someone with previous experience in the above duties, who can multitask and work in a fast-paced department. Excellent Excel skills are essential, coupled with a can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in and help others when needed

In return they offer 25 days holiday and a salary of £31,000. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
