This is a really great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant with a solid background in the manufacturing sector to join a well established and extremely successful SME market leader, on a part time basis, 3 days a week and for 12 months initially. The company has a great culture of team engagement where everyone knows and understands the end game, and how their own delivery contributes to achieving the business goals.

Reporting into the FC, you will have overall responsibility for financial control and performance reporting together with the delivery of monthly MI, FI and group reporting across three small manufacturing companies. This role encompasses a broad range of tasks and would suit a qualified Management Accountant who is looking for a broader role within a multi faceted company.

Your key responsibilities as Management Accountant...

- To prepare and deliver high quality month end reporting with comments
- The weekly cashflow forecasting and management thereof
- To devise quarterly forecasting and annual budgets
- Completion of the monthly payroll function and manage any furlough claims or similar
- To assist in commercial and operational decision making as required
- Complete VAT / PAYE returns and liaise with appropriate HMRC authorities as needed
- Ensure strict cost management control within the group
- Work with external auditors as necessary
- Manage one team member who undertakes the day to day PL, credit control and general office administration

To be the successful Management Accountant candidate, you...

- Are an experienced CCAB qualified accountant who can analyse and interpret the detail whilst also seeing the big picture
- Must have extensive and demonstrable management accounting experience in the manufacturing sector, including the preparation and submission of all statutory financial reporting
- Can demonstrate a strong commercial background with well-developed financial acumen and proven skills in creating and delivering detailed financial forecasting
- Are skilled in producing high quality and comprehensive reports
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Are happy to work 3 days a week
- Have strong communication skills at all levels

In return, you will receive a salary of circa £30,000 pa for three days per week for the initial 12 month contract.
