Our Plymouth based client have an immediate need for a temporary Assistant Accountant for a minimum of 3 months.

This role will be a busy and diverse position, responsible for tasks to include invoicing, reconciling company accounts, along with processing the payroll for a small internal team.

To be successful, you will need to be immediately available and have proven experience within a similar finance environment.

Duties:

• Purchase ledger activities, including processing invoices and expenses, and monitoring payments
• Credit control and related activities
• Payroll for a small internal team
• Supporting the accounts function with a wide range of duties on a daily basis

Candidate:

• Minimum of AAT qualified, part / fully qualified accounting qualifications would be an advantage
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience of preparing balance sheet accounts
• Able to manage time and prioritise workloads
• Immediately available
