Part Qualified Accountant - Temporary - Hatfield

£18 - £20 per hour

A leading business based in Hatfield is looking for a Part Qualified Accountant to join them on a temporary basis. Working within a sizeable Finance function the Part Qualified Accountant will be responsible for reporting, forecasting and analysis of the company's various income and cash streams, ensuring that stakeholders receive timely, accurate and relevant information.

Main

Responsibilities:

• Assist with customer cash collection reporting and forecasting

• Review monthly dashboard reporting for sales, billing and cash

• Review annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for income

• Report monthly performance, opportunities, risks and trends to Head of Finance

• Calculation and tracking bad debt provision for review and submission to Senior Business Partner

• Assist with cash processing function to ensure timely and accurate processing

• Assist with all statutory and regulatory income reporting queries

• Responsible for quarterly bank and debtor balance sheet reconciliations

• Undertake ad-hoc project work at request of Head of Finance.

Key Requirements:

• Be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified

• Prior experience in income and/or debt analytic roles are advantageous

• Able to apply a logical mind and objectively challenge reports/data

• Risk focused and able to extrapolate potential trends/undertake fast-pace scenario planning

• Good time management and ability to work under pressure

• Good MS Office skills, ideally an advanced user of MS Excel

This role is based in Hatfield and the pay is £18 - £20 per hour
