CFO

I am currently working with an owner managed media company who specialises primarily in publishing, they are looking to hire an impressive CFO who has experience of working with the board and sit across a group of businesses ensuring all the finance departments run effectively and all accounting activities being dealt with in a timely manner. With a business that is evolving quickly, the successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment in a role which will be both strategic and hands-on. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody seeking a high-profile role in a successful business in the process of scaling.

You will ensure timely production of monthly management accounts, produce scenario analysis, KPI trend and variance analysis to allow and drive strategic decisions. You will also lead and build successful teams, providing excellent people management skills and expertise in dealing and presenting at Executive and / or Board level. You will also oversee the financial reporting and tax requirements in line with a SME international business.

This role will suit an experienced CFO with a track record in SME companies. Ideal background would be from media or retail. This is initially a 6 month role with the possibility of temp to perm for the right candidate.
