Job Details

This is an excellent role for candidates who have previous experience dealing with stock invoices. This is also a great role for candidates who are looking for a role which will allow them to progress with both studies and their career.

Client Details

Based in the heart of London, my client is an international manufacturer of luxury perfumes. With an annual revenue of just over £50M (2020) across the group, they are currently expanding with the recent acquisition of two new brands. Hence, the need for a pro-active account assistant to join the Finance department in an international, dynamic, and fast changing environment, the candidate needs to be autonomous, flexible and focused on quality and delivery.

This position will report to the Finance Manager and will interact closely with various departments across the Company

Description

Key responsibilities for this Accounts Assistant role include:

· Purchase invoices processing (PO / non PO), ensuring necessary approvals are obtained

· Expenses and credit card reconciliation and book-keeping

· Timely confirmation/reconciliation of statements of accounts with our suppliers

· Vendor cards creation and maintenance

· Ageing reports preparation and payments proposal

· Bank entries book-keeping

· Ensuring vendors and customers accounts are updated and payments applied

· Month-end closing activities

· Credit control and customers reconciliation

· Answering accounting related queries from suppliers and customers, and maintain good internal and external relationships

· Providing accurate explanations and suggesting improvements to the management

· Ad hoc projects/requests

Profile

Requirements for this Accounts Assistant role:

· Minimum 3 years of experience working within a Finance/Accounting team

· Experience in a SME and international business

· Multiple companies book-keeping experience

· Stock invoices processing

· Multitasking and open to additional responsibilities

· Ability to pay attention to details and focus on accuracy on a significant volume of invoices

· Strong Excel skills

· Pro-activity and problem-solving attitude

· Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and exercise judgement

· Respect of strict deadlines and processes

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Paperless organization

. Commuting distance from London

Additional desired:

· Microsoft Navision/Business Central experience

· Good communication skills

· International VAT understanding

· Luxury sector and/or production experience is a plus

· Italian/French language
