    What we're doing

    As Senior Audit Manager, you'll be part of our Global Risk and Assurance team helping us undertake a level of assurance around controls. With an accomplished background in pure Audit and SOX, you're ideally someone who is well versed with IT systems, security auditing and has also dabbled with audit data analytics.

    While no two days are ever the same, you'll:
  • Develop and execute the REA Group annual Audit Plan.
  • Manage and oversee the REA Group Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program (this includes engagement with News Corp Global Audit.
  • Work with the Risk & Assurance Business Partners to ensure appropriate management actions are agreed for audit findings.
  • Engage and manage our third party audit firm to undertake the annual SOX control testing on behalf of REA Group.
  • Support SOX control owners to ensure they understand their responsibilities and accountabilities by way of training and awareness.
  • Validate the proposed closure of all audit agreed management actions.
  • Via the team, undertake testing of operational risk and compliance obligations as part of the annual controls testing plan.
  • Inspire your team to help them understand our strategy and how to deliver and excel in their roles.

  • What we're looking for
  • CA or CPA, CISA qualified with a few runs on the board.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience as an auditor.
  • Proven capability and understanding in overseeing of IT reviews and audits.
  • Solid proficiency, understanding, and grasp of SOX, including practical experience of a full scope audit and all relevant reporting requirements.
  • Audit data analytics experience highly desirable.
  • Solid business acumen, easily approachable and engages with the business to find practical solutions.
  • Loves being a people leader and strives to build a high performing team.
  • Excellent business writing and presentation skills to deliver at Exec and Board level.
