The opportunity

The Industry and Infrastructure Group provides programs and services to support government's objectives to transition to a zero net emissions and circular economy. These objectives are outlined in various plans and strategies, including the Statewide Waste and Resource Recovery Infrastructure plan (SWIRRP), the Recycling Industry Strategic Plan (RISP), Sustainability Victoria's Towards 2020 (2023) Strategy and the Recycling Victoria - a new economy Policy, amongst others.

The Manager Infrastructure Investment will work closely with the Director Industry and Infrastructure and bring a high level of commercial acumen and industry skills and experience to drive strategic investment across the businesses and industry in the sectors that SV works with.

Leading a team of subject matter experts focused on investment facilitation you will motivate and inspire achievement and delivery of shared outcomes by providing authoritative advice, leadership and support.

About you

Recognised as a specialist in your field you will possess sound commercial acumen with the ability to identify and respond to new and emerging issues within the sectors.

A confident negotiator and influencer you are skilled at building strong strategic networks with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver on Victorian government policy, plans and strategies to achieve a circular economy and a zero net emissions future.
