An exciting new opportunity has been created in the Surrey Pension Fund team for an ambitious candidate on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Surrey Pension Fund is a founder partner of the Border to Coast Pensions Partnership (BCPP) asset pool and has embarked on realising the savings that BCCP can deliver.

The role holder will support the Pensions Finance Specialist in managing and delivering services to existing and perspective employers in the Fund.

They will attend service management team meetings, and work collaboratively and proactively with the key members of the finance team, actuary, fund employers, legal and administration, to meet the expected customer requirements.

Reporting to the Pensions Finance Specialist, you will have a contributory role in the countrywide development of Pension Fund policy and procedures. You will be involved in supporting the Pensions Fund Committee and Local Pension Boards as part of the wider governance framework.

The role of Senior Employer Support Officer is critical to the smooth running of the Pension Fund and will call for a flexible and adaptable approach and, willingness to undertake a range of activities.

You will have a proven ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise and plan in order to make best use of personal resources in achieving performance objectives.

You will work in partnership with a motivated team, including the Strategic Finance Manager, Senior Pensions Finance Specialist, Pension Governance and Employer Manger as well as Service Managers.
