Financial Crime Investigations focus on the specific financial crime threats the firm faces now and in the future, pioneering the techniques and technology that protect our business, our customers, and the many communities in which we operate, from the harms associated with financial crime. We do this by harnessing intelligence, analytics, technology, investigation, information sharing, and public-private partnerships.

Taking on the role of Triage Officer with the Financial Crime Investigations team, you will have day-to-day involvement in monitoring unusual activity from reports and referrals from the business, assessing immediate live risk and prioritising action and potential escalation. In this important role as the first level of risk assessment, your focus will be on assessing and managing the first stage of investigative cases using your judgement to identify potential concerns for further investigation.

Your main responsibilities will include
  • Being the Principal point of referral for all relevant investigations, which may originate from various internal or external sources.
  • Continuously monitoring and actioning requests from a team mailbox from a team mailbox
  • Providing timely and reliable assessment and triage on potential financial crime risks.
  • Completing assessments on incoming requests and completing all associated activities to determine the required course of action.
  • Correctly entering cases onto the case management system.
  • Supporting the Triage Assistant Manager (Team Lead) with ad hoc tasks and projects.
  • Supporting and participating in key initiatives from the country/region including coordinating and facilitating sharing of best practice, encouraging collaboration and seeking streamlining opportunities during the Triage process.



  • Qualifications


    To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Existing Fraud Operations / Triage or Investigations experience preferred but not essential.
  • A background in Financial Crime an advantage but not essential
  • Capable of picking up, and applying, new ideas/concepts quickly
  • Excellent inter-personal with strong written and verbal communication skills and an excellent customer service ethic.
  • Excellent organisation and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A motivated self-starter with a positive demeanour, able to autonomously drive and prioritise their own workload.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, coupled with a sense of urgency enabling you to work effectively in a fast paced environment involving constant change.
  • Good PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft software.
