CREDIT OFFICER - MAJORS - Tomago

About the role

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will manage and reconcile debtor accounts while building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure agreed payment terms are met, and financial process controls are maintained.

Based at our NSW head office in Tomago, this is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8 hour days.

Key Responsibilities
  • AR responsibility for a portfolio of Major Account customers
  • Daily banking and allocation
  • Manage customer queries and disputes
  • Manage account reconciliations
  • Liaise with Account Managers to maximise timely cash collection
  • Authorise the release of machines and be PPSA complaint
  • Deliver on team and personal collection targets

  • Skills & Experience
  • Previous accounts receivable experience
  • Strong reconciliation and payment allocation skills
  • Intermediate excel abilities (simple formulas and vlookup)
  • Well developed negotiating, influencing and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Experience with working to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience using SAP would be beneficial
  • Previous experience with Personal Properties Securities Act (PPSA) preferred
