Hands on Finance Manager required for successful local business in Andover

Your new company
An established, well run, cash rich business who have been in existence for a number of years seek to appoint a hands on accountant to run the full end to end finance function.

Your new role
Accountable to the board of directors, you will oversee all month / year end requirements ensuring the business meets their statutory obligations. You will monitor cash flow, maintain the integrity of the financial ledgers whilst bringing the payroll function in house ensuring wages are paid in a timely and accurate manner. You will oversee VAT and look for ways to improve the finance function through the delivery of better management information in order to make the business even more profitable over time.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a hands on accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with a track record of running a small finance function from top to bottom. Consideration will also be given to candidates working within the profession who prepare the accounts on behalf of an external client portfolio. Exposure to sage is beneficial with preference given to candidates on 1 months notice or less.
