If you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any subject and a desire to develop your skills in finance within a global biopharmaceutical organisation, our Finance Graduate Development Programme could be the perfect start to your career. You’ll gain invaluable insight, exposure and opportunities across our diverse Finance organisation. We’ll accelerate your learning and help you work toward your potential.
What does the programme involve?
The two year programme starts in September 2021 and consists of three individual eight month placements. Each placement will provide you with valuable insights and experience into the important business operations of AstraZeneca..
The programme’s variety and flexibility will provide you with opportunities to apply business and finance techniques and expertise to support our global development of life changing medicines. You could be contributing in a number of interesting areas of finance including: Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Tax, Planning and Forecasting or Management Reporting. As well as helping you broaden your industry and finance knowledge, we’ll help you develop useful ‘soft’ skills that will prove valuable as you grow in your career.
You will benefit from an invaluable blend of on-the-job experience and coaching. You’ll enjoy guidance and advice from a huge support network, including a mentor and dedicated programme manager. We’ll also encourage you to identify and build collaborative relationships with specialists and leaders across our organisation. Together, we’ll help accelerate your development and knowledge!
Essential requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline awarded in 2020, or due to be awarded in 2021.
- Enthusiastic and passionate advocate for the potential of Finance to make an impact.
- Proactive problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Collaborative, with a partnership approach to achieving success.
