The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of key tasks to ensure the successful outcome of high-profile projects. You will be required to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally whilst overseeing the efficient and timely delivery of financial accounts.
Duties will include;
Full responsibility of financial accounts, balance sheet management, reconciliations and bank account management Ensure compliance with local and regional tax obligations Provide high quality financial analysis and reporting on weekly basis Manage relationship with senior internal/external stakeholders Support Finance Manager with Financial Analysis, Budgets & Forecasts Identify areas for process improvement and implement key changes
Your Profile
You will have an engaging and inquisitive nature that will lend itself to being able to understand the organisation, the nuances of a capital-intensive business and build working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
CA/CPA qualification (or close to full qualification) will be key, as you are a detail orientated Accountant with the ability to communicate your work and findings effectively. By showing the willingness to learn and offer an alternative viewpoint, you will enable the finance team and broader business to improve its effectiveness.
Experience in an Industry Accounting role is highly regarded - this role could provide the opportunity to take your accounting skills to the next level.
