Client Details
The client is a well known, commercial Not for Profit organisation based in Wakefield. They are looking for an Interim senior Financial Accountant to join their team. This role will report into the Head of Group Accounting. The client offers a competitive benefit package including an excellent pension, holiday allowance and flexible working.
Description
As an Interim Senior Financial Accountant, duties will include but are not limited to, being responsible for the group financial accounting consolidation and reporting activities, managing the month end process, leading on consolidating accounts, balance sheet reporting, ensure they are operating in line with relevant GAAP accounting standards, leading in the management of the external audit, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have led in the management of external audits previously ESSENTIAL
- Have an excellent knowledge of UK GAAP and accounting standards ESSENTIAL
- Have prepared statutory accounts ESSENTIAL
- Be a fully Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
- Be able to start immediately or on a weeks notice ESSENTIAL

£54,000- £56,000 + Interim Senior Financial Accountant + Not for Profit organisation + contract/interim role + Wakefield based + home working for the foreseeable
