Your Role

The Finance Team at Maurice Blackburn ensures the firm's financial strength and proper governance necessary to deliver on our purpose. An exciting opportunity now exists to join the team as Team Assistant. Reporting to the CFO, this role will provide critical administrative support across a broad range of matters. This includes:
  • providing executive support (diary management, travel, correspondence, preparing presentations, etc) to the CFO and the broader Finance Team;
  • acting as a point of contact for Finance and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders;
  • planning and coordinating Finance meetings and ensuring that action items are recorded and managed;
  • helping to maintain finance systems and processes and identifying opportunities for improvement;
  • providing administrative support for projects and coordinating finance processes, including the preparation of relevant documentation and correspondence.

    About You

    We're looking for a self-directed and proactive team / executive assistant who is passionate about helping and collaborating with others. You'll be a natural problem solver and excellent communicator with superior organisational and planning skills. You'll also possess:
  • excellent administrative and executive support experience ideally in a busy Finance practice;
  • proven ability to prioritise, deal with ambiguity and adjust quickly to changing demands;
  • strong systems proficiency including excellent skills in the MS Office suite; and
  • experience with finance systems will be highly regarded (but not essential).
