Your new role
As Head of Finance, you'll be leading the Finance and Procurement Department with day to day responsibility for budgetary and financial management. Specifically, you'll be responsible for;

• Ownership of the annual budget process.
• Formulating and monitoring progress of business plans and budgets.
• Internal financial reporting to aid decision making.
• Ensuring consistency and quality of all internal and external reporting.
• Producing long term financial plans.

What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for a charismatic and engaging finance leader with proven experience at a similar level. Whilst not-for-profit / charity / public body experience is not essential, you will be / have;

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with significant PQE (8+ years).
• Experience of preparing and filing statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Experience of leading and developing a large and diverse finance team.
• Confident to operate at a strategic level in both a business and finance function.
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills at all levels including board level.
