Reporting analysts transform data into information that can be utilized to make business decisions and actions. The work involves acquiring data from other sources, creating reports on a regular basis, correcting any code issues, and ensuring that databases remain error-free and organized. Analyzing data is a key part of this role, this position should be able to spot trends and anomalies within statistical data. This includes using reporting and statistics tools.

Job objectives includes:

Support various teams to design key dashboards and scorecards for leadership team and various business units to enable data driven decisions.

Conduct data analysis, spot data trends, perform gap analysis, generate reports, and recommend improvements to current business metric collection process

Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout.

Communicate results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers.

Seek opportunities to drive innovation and process improvement with reporting.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience working in a reporting environment, with proven ability to deliver high quality & accurate reports within demanding timescales.

Strong technical and numerical skills with advanced Excel and PowerBI skills.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - ability to clearly communicate complex quantitative analysis in actionable insights

Detail-oriented and passion for problem-solving

Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team

Ability to use database tool such as SQL to support reporting is a plus.

General knowledge of IT operations including information security.

Diploma or above.
