The Client

This role will find you responsible for the financial control and management of a significant muti-use, 300 Ha specialist operational facility. This busy site is part of a wider industrial and commercial zone, housing over 160 tenants. This strategic area of developable land is situated in a significant and strategic part of Sydney's South West corridor and has experienced significant growth and value over the last few years.

The Role

This is a hands on role that will find you reporting directly into the CFO and which requires stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide financial information & analysis to the Executive Leadership Team, including board reports and monthly financial reports.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports.
  • Coordinate the efficient and timely execution of audit processes and tax compliance requirements.
  • Provide the Executive Leadership Team with analysis and advice on the financial implications of business activities.
  • Assess proposals involving financial expenditure and the financial status of projects.
  • Improve and enhance finance and accounting procedures through the design and implementation of standardised procedures.
  • Identify and manage project and company risks within the Risk Management Framework.


  • Skills and Experience

    This unique opportunity would suit a candidate that holds 10+years' experience within a senior finance position. This is a leadership role that requires strong stakeholder management experience.

  • Related tertiary qualification.
  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Experience in Project Management of an ERP/Finance system delivery.
  • Experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, budgeting/forecasting, and cash-flow management.
  • Strong analytical & communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Property accounting experience will be looked upon favourably.
