The Client
This role will find you responsible for the financial control and management of a significant muti-use, 300 Ha specialist operational facility. This busy site is part of a wider industrial and commercial zone, housing over 160 tenants. This strategic area of developable land is situated in a significant and strategic part of Sydney's South West corridor and has experienced significant growth and value over the last few years.
The Role
This is a hands on role that will find you reporting directly into the CFO and which requires stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities include:
Provide financial information & analysis to the Executive Leadership Team, including board reports and monthly financial reports. Prepare budgets, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports. Coordinate the efficient and timely execution of audit processes and tax compliance requirements. Provide the Executive Leadership Team with analysis and advice on the financial implications of business activities. Assess proposals involving financial expenditure and the financial status of projects. Improve and enhance finance and accounting procedures through the design and implementation of standardised procedures. Identify and manage project and company risks within the Risk Management Framework.
Skills and Experience
This unique opportunity would suit a candidate that holds 10+years' experience within a senior finance position. This is a leadership role that requires strong stakeholder management experience.
Related tertiary qualification. CA/CPA Qualified Experience in Project Management of an ERP/Finance system delivery. Experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, budgeting/forecasting, and cash-flow management. Strong analytical & communication skills, both written and verbal. Property accounting experience will be looked upon favourably.
