A unique opportunity has become available on the North West market for an highly experienced Senior Auditor / Audit Manager to join a large firm of Chartered Accountants. Located in Liverpool city centre, my client is a long established and highly regarded firm, known for their tailored and specialist client service.

This role will be working at a senior level in the business, working closely with Partners to implement strategy and continue to build on the already impressive client base. You will be responsible for managing your own varied client portfolio whilst overseeing the work of other team members.

As this is a Senior level appointment, the successful candidate must be ACA / ACCA qualified, with extensive experience in leading audits. Experience in managing staff and working with a varied portfolio if clients is also required.

Reporting into the Audit Partner, the Audit Manager's responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
• Leading and managing all aspects of the Audit
• Managing audit budgets
• Risk Management
• Overseeing the Audit team including training and developing staff members

The Audit Manager will have the below skills and experience:

• Proven experience in a similar Audit Supervisor / Audit Manager position
• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Experience in leading / managing a team will be ideal
