About the Senior Credit Risk Analyst, NBFI Role:
In this business critical role, you will prepare credit applications and annual reviews by performing fundamental credit analysis on financial institutions/non-bank financial institutions, sovereigns, funds, insurance companies and wealth funds. The recommendation should be balanced between both objectives of asset preservation and optimum risk-reward considerations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the assigned credit portfolio on a continuing basis for change in credit quality due to counterparty-specific and general market related issues, recommending suitable actions lead
  • Establish appropriate internal risk ratings and implement appropriate adjustments through clients credit life cycle
  • Provide support in development of framework and policies to measure and control counterparty credit risk within financial institution group and fully contribute to a culture of continuous process improvement

  • To succeed in the Senior Credit Risk Analyst, NBFI job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with stakeholders of various levels.

    Key Requirements:
  • Preferably tertiary education in a business related field or any professional qualification. Post graduate is an added advantage
  • CCP/PCC qualification or related credit qualification e.g. BRM qualification
  • Minimum of five years' work experience in processing and/or assessing corporate/capital market instruments/financial institutions
  • Minimum of four years of loan origination experience in corporate/commercial loans
  • Two to three years of experience in credit approving or credit audit or remedial is an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of treasury products
