An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a high-growth pharmaceutical business based in central London.

My client is a high-growth pharmaceutical business based in central London.
Description
The Financial Accountant will be a key member of the finance team responsible for assisting in delivering accurate, compliant and timely Financial Statements.
As well as monthly and yearly reporting, duties will include billing and accounts receivable supervision, oversight of AP and payments, preparation of VAT and other tax returns, payroll review and the monitoring of timesheets to support the Group's revenue recognition.
The Financial Accountant will ensure legal requirements are adhered to and best practices implemented. This position contributes to the development, definition and documentation of financial controls and processes within the business, identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures.
The Financial Accountant will also support the FP&A Team to provide Divisional Heads and Project Directors with accurate, relevant and on time management information around profit, margins, costs, efficiencies, opportunities and operational KPIs, when necessary.
Profile
The successful Financial Accountant will have the following credentials:
- Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience within the pharmaceuticals or related sectors highly desirable
- Experience producing financial statements/management accounts & month-end activity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Can-do attitude & ability to solve-problems
- Notice period of 2 months or less
Job Offer
Basic salary of between £50,000 to £55,000 + benefits
