My client is one of the most successful Staffordshire businesses. They are looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their large finance team and focus on regulatory reporting project work.

Your new role
As a Newly Qualified Accountant you will work closely with Senior Accountant and wider finance team.

• Business focused role that will assist in preparing/reviewing a variety of regulatory returns and monitoring regulatory reconciliations.

• Project work for new markets understanding the regulatory requirements and converting these into reports.
• Preparation and review of periodic reporting and period accruals for management accounts..
• Provide support and cover for other members of the regulatory reporting team.
• Gain in depth knowledge and understanding of company terminology and processes.
• Production of Internal reports for Senior Management
• Adhoc MIS Report Testing.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be newly CIMA/ACCA qualified within the last 2 years or someone who is currently finishing their studies.Ideally you will have background working in a large accounting department , with experience of building relationships and working effectively within a team. You will have strong analytical skills and good working knowledge of Excel to include use of formulas and pivot tables.
